Viveca Novak (Washington). Viveca is deputy director of FactCheck.org. She previously covered legal issues, politics and government in Washington for Time magazine, The Wall Street Journal, National Journal and Common Cause Magazine. At Time, she did award-winning investigative reporting into the campaign finance scandals of President Clinton’s 1996 re-election campaign. She is co-author of Inside the Wire, a book about the Guantanamo Bay detention center published in 2005.
