Vanessa O’Connell is The Wall Street Journal’s small business editor and also writes for all sections of the paper. She was co-author of a series on the doping scandal in professional cycling and was a member of the Journal’s team that reported on the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. The Deepwater Horizon series won several journalism awards, including a Gerald Loeb Award, and was a 2011 Pulitzer Prize finalist in the national reporting category.
