Tracie Potts (Washington). Tracie covers Capitol Hill, the Obama administration and federal health policy for the NBC News Channel, a service that provides Washington news to local newscasts on NBC stations across the country. After working as an anchor and a reporter at local NBC and ABC stations, she joined NBC in 1997 and was based in Los Angeles before coming to Washington. Tracie has been a fellow of the National Press Foundation, the Poynter Institute and the Journalism Center on Children and Families, and she was awarded the Michele Clark Fellowship by the Radio and Television News Directors Foundation.
