Mark Engel (Atlanta). Mark is an executive producer at CNN, where he edits and approves scripts for correspondents worldwide. Before starting at CNN in 2002, he worked at WSB-TV in Atlanta for 13 years as a news director and a local programming director. He has been a reporter, videographer, editor and producer for local television stations. He has won 13 regional Emmy awards and a Peabody award for “The Boy King,” a docudrama on the childhood of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
