Kevin Merida (Washington). Kevin is national editor at the Washington Post, where he has also worked as an assistant managing editor, congressional reporter, Style section feature writer, political reporter and associate editor. He was the coordinating editor for the 2006 Post series "Being a Black Man," is the co-author of Supreme Discomfort: The Divided Soul of Clarence Thomas (2007) and collaborated on Obama: The Historic Campaign in Photographs (2008). Before joining the Post in 1993, Kevin was an editor and a reporter at The Dallas Morning News and a reporter at the Milwaukee Journal. He has taught journalism courses at Marquette University and Boston University’s journalism program in Washington, D.C.
