Jessica Weisberg (New York). Jessica is a fact-checker at The New Yorker and a freelance writer whose articles have appeared in The Nation, n+1 and AlterNet, among other publications. Before joining The New Yorker in 2007, she lived in Paraguay and co-directed Farms Without Farmers, a documentary about the Paraguayan soybean industry, which has been screened at festivals in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Canada, New Zealand and the United States.
