Gwen Ifill (Washington). Gwen is the moderator and managing editor of PBS’ “Washington Week” and senior correspondent for PBS’ “NewsHour with Jim Lehrer.” She was selected as moderator for the vice-presidential candidate debates in 2004 and in 2008. Before joining PBS she was chief congressional and political correspondent for NBC News and a White House and political reporter for The New York Times.
