Eric Umansky (New York). Eric is a senior editor at ProPublica, where he oversees daily reporting. From 2001 until 2006 he worked for the online magazine Slate, where he wrote the “Today’s Papers” column. He also has written, mostly on national security issues, for The New York Times Magazine, The Washington Post, The New Republic, and elsewhere. Earlier in his career, Eric was editor of MotherJones.com.
