Diane Nottle (New York). Diane was an editor at The New York Times for 20 years, including 14 in the culture news department and nearly five as arts editor for the Sunday regional sections. Most recently she was paper’s deputy editor for classical music and dance. She previously worked at The Boston Globe, the Rochester (N.Y.) Democrat and Chronicle and The Roanoke (Va.) Times. Her freelance articles have appeared in newspapers nationwide, as well as travel and arts magazines.
