He oversees story assignments for North and South America and coordinates breaking news coverage for “NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams,” the “Today” show and MSNBC. Previously, Dax worked as a researcher at the network’s Los Angeles bureau. At NBC, he has covered the 2008 presidential election, the Olympic Games in Beijing, the global financial crisis, numerous natural disasters, and the deaths of Michael Jackson and Senator Edward M. Kennedy.
