As the assistant Central editor for the Associated Press, Anna oversees daily news coverage for 14 states from Texas to Michigan. She began her news career as a reporter at the Daily Herald in Arlington Heights, Ill., and joined the AP in 2004. First based in Cairo, Anna covered news throughout the Middle East for the AP before taking on her current assignment.
