Andrea Seabrook

Andrea Seabrook (Washington).  Andrea has been the congressional correspondent at NPR since 2003. She is a frequent host of other NPR programs, including “Talk of the Nation,” and she anchored NPR’s live broadcasts of the 2008 political conventions and election night in 2006 and 2008. She has covered the White House and various Washington agencies, political campaigns and political candidates, and was the host of the weekend edition of “All Things Considered” for a year and a half. Andrea has also worked as an editorial assistant, translator and producer in NPR’s Mexico bureau, as an assistant editor of “Morning Edition” and as a weekend general assignment reporter for all NPR programs.  Before joining NPR in 1998, she lived, studied and worked in Mexico City.
