Amy Wallace
Freelance Journalist
Amy Wallace (Los Angeles). Amy is a freelance
magazine writer whose articles have appeared in The New Yorker, Vanity
Fair, Esquire, Elle, Men’s Journal, the New York Times Magazine, The
Nation and Conde Nast Portfolio, the business magazine where she spent
nearly three years as a senior writer. From 1989 to 2000 she worked
as a reporter at the Los Angeles Times, and from 2004 to 2006 she was
the paper’s deputy business editor. In between her two stints at the
paper she was a senior writer at Los Angeles Magazine, and she
recently returned there as a part-time editor-at-large.
