Aaron Epstein

Aaron Epstein (Washington). Aaron covered law, the Supreme Court, politics, health, war and federal legislation for 17 years as a national correspondent in the Washington bureau of the Knight Ridder newspaper chain. For 10 years before that, he was a Washington correspondent and City Hall bureau chief at The Philadelphia Inquirer. He also was metro editor of The Sacramento Bee, and a reporter for The Bee, The Press Democrat (Santa Rosa, Calif.) and The Daytona Beach (Fla.) News-Journal. He has won numerous awards and was a member of The Philadelphia Inquirer staff that won a Pulitzer Prize in 1980 for local reporting for its coverage of the Three Mile Island nuclear accident.
